Chante Pinot MMXXIV – Domaine Josmeyer
Created in 2018 by Céline and Isabelle Meyer, this cuvée was conceived as a dry, delicately fragrant, low-alcohol, spontaneous, and delightful sparkling wine.
Grape Variety & Terroir
A blend of three grape varieties grown on light sandy and alluvial soils in Wintzenheim, from 25-year-old vines. This family estate has been biodynamically certified (Biodyvin) since 2004. Natural sparkling wine: spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel, early bottling, disgorging 2 to 3 weeks later, with no added sulfur or filtration. Appellation Vin de France.
Tasting Notes
The nose evokes white flowers and orchard fruits. The palate, marked by a hint of spice and great freshness, is youthful and lively.
Food & Wine Pairings
Ideal as an aperitif and for celebrations, with Asian dishes and lightly sweetened desserts such as orange blossom cheesecake or a strawberry-lemon dessert.
